Full playback is supported - you can even playback a file while it is being recorded! The latest compression techniques are employed - a 1 hour file of solid audio consumes just 15Mb of disk space - and can be played back in any Windows Media Player if you wish to send your audio to someone.

It doesn't just blindly force data to your radio, it intelligently discovers your radio's settings and acts accordingly. This is why other software can fail unexpectedly and without telling you why. For instance - the AR8200 has a bug that if Memory Protection is switched on the radio has a problem with memory updates. JAOR checks this first instead just hoping for the best.
